I got my macbook repaired at home, and the tech completed it in 2h, which is great considering how complicated the repair itself can be. This is the 2018 15", and the tech was tidy, straightforward and very methodical. The repair was considerably less expensive than other quotes I got, and saved me a ton of money. 10/10!
for reference, it cost me ₹6,800 as on 21/10/25. The first person repair was quoted at ₹15-20k for a full top case replacement, and I got it done with 6 months' warranty.

Called Sri Prasad on #Sunday evening; the service tech Sri Narasimha came home around 6.30 PM, and made the necessary upgrade. Sought to change battery. He came at noon the next day and completed the work in 15 mins.
